Hi! I'm Chelsea and I am a writer, reporter, producer, and comedian, based in Toronto, Ontario.

I am currently the Editor-in-Chief of SB Nation's Raptors HQ blog. I also write on the WNBA beat for Athlon Sports, am the author of the WNBA Wraparound column on Fansided, and write about the Toronto Raptors for GiveMeSport. I am a contributor for Winsidr and Swish Appeal writing about the WNBA, and a co-host of The Press Break, a podcast on the Her Hoops Stats network.

 

In 2021 I published the #2 and #8 most popular pieces on the comedy satire website End of the Bench. Past comedy and writing projects include writing comedy video game scripts for Archer: Danger Phone, on The 4% Rising Newsletter, and producing video content for The Parleh network.

As a storyteller, I am extremely passionate about finding the inspiring and relatable aspects of people's journeys. I love to interview athletes, comedians, and other personalities. Everyone has a unique story to share, and often we find community and understanding by learning about others.

 

My goals as a writer/producer are to continue to find authentic, humorous, and enjoyable ways to share stories. In my spare time, I love to perform Improvised Comedy with my friends, write and perform sketches, and I've recently gotten into the world of crochet!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Rhetoric from the University of Waterloo, and completed Humber College's Television Writing and Producing graduate program in 2019.​​
