Hi! I'm Chelsea, and I am a writer, reporter, producer, and host analyzing the Toronto Raptors, WNBA, and women's sports.

I cover the Raptors beat through my role as Editor-in-Chief of Raptors HQ, an SB Nation Toronto Raptors blog. I also cover the WNBA, Unrivaled, and women's college basketball for SB Nation's women's sports vertical, Breakaway, as well as The Next, Fansided, and Her Hoops Stats. I host regularly on the Her Hoop Stats Podcast as well as the Locked on Women's Basketball podcast. I also produce social media content for The IX Sports. I hope to cover the Toronto Tempo beat once the team is closer to joining the WNBA.

As a storyteller, I am extremely passionate about finding the inspiring and relatable aspects of people's journeys. I love to interview athletes, comedians, and other personalities. Everyone has a unique story to share, and often we find community and understanding by learning about others.

 

My goals as a writer/producer are to continue to find authentic, humorous, and enjoyable ways to share stories. In my spare time, I love to perform Improvised Comedy with my friends, write and perform sketches, and I've recently gotten into the world of crochet!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Rhetoric from the University of Waterloo, and completed Humber College's Television Writing and Producing graduate program in 2019.​​
